I'm doing some repair on the front passenger door and needed to remove the exterior lower body molding. In the process I broke one of the studs along the bottom of the molding while trying to remove the nut. The local dealer parts person said I would have to order a new molding since the studs were not available individually. Does anyone know if the stud is available individually and what the part # is?

I don't think the stud is sold by it self. You could get some panel bonding and "glue" the stud back on, or just glue the bottom of the molding to the door... But be carefull once that panel bonding drys it will be VERY hard to remove the molding.

Panel bonding is used to hold on quater panels on cars and some door skins.
