I've got a 2019 non PP SHO that I had the water pump replaced about 10,000 mi ago. I can smell cooling in the engine bay when it's hot. Oil looks great and no foam or smell and changed it 3 times since Ford change the water pump. It seems to ride about an inch lower than the minimum fill line. It smells and I'm concerned and confused.

I have had vehicles that had a small coolant leak somewhere on top of the engine, such that the coolant that leaked out would always evaporate due to the heat of the engine and it never dripped to the ground. In your case, I would drive the car until its hot, shut it off and open the hood and take a very careful look around the engine to see if you can find a small wet spot.

May help to add dye to the coolant and use an UV light. Usually even if the coolant evaporates the dye is left behind.

When the water pump is replaced, the intake is removed. The intake has coolant passages in it for the t-stat and heater hoses. Look in your engine valley for coolant. It may be hard. Lots of junk in there

Couldn't find it and worried it's the pump again. I'm trying to ascertain the process for removing my GH AO tune. It's only been 7,000 mi since they fixed the pump...47K miles on the car. Other than that it's been perfect. Hi boo up my PTU on my 2011 at 80,000 miles but it was a company car.
