I am baffled here. The low coolant light and the low oil light come on at the same exact time. This happens intermittently with no rhyme or apparent reason. It has happened since I have owned the car.

Can anyone lead me in the right direction as to what to check/what the problem might be?

The blinking lights are causing me to have epileptic fits!

TIA,

Looking at the 89 EVTM (it should be close enough) doesn't reveal anything of common interest in the two sensor circuits.

However, The low (gounded) sides for the LOW OIL and the LOW COOLANT lights use adjacent pins at C156 at the instrumement cluster in the dash. Perhaps there is a short between these two pins and you are actually triggering one of the sensors either due to a failed sensor or a real fluid level reading.

According to the schematic, each sensor closes and completes a circuit to illuminate the warning light when the fluid level is low.

Not positive if your 91 is the same...

I have the 89 Shop & EVTM Jay. You can peruse it when you come out the end of Sept. if you like.

Did you check to see if you have a noticeable problem area with your harness? Just a thought.
