Is there any simple fix for this, besides pulling the bulb, coolant tank has plenty of coolant, sometimes it comes on sometimes it doesnt. Cleaned the connector and the sensor portion as well.

You just need to pull the sensor out and clean it. It works by two metal probes conducting electricly thru the coolant. when the probes corrode than it doesn't matter how much coolant you have it thinks its empty.HootUSMC said:ummm world famous ford electrical bugs
