If you have key less entry use the code to open the doors and press the 5/6 button. You can also remove the plastic shroud around the lock inside at the release leaver and unlock it under there. If you try a search on that there is info on how to do it.

Yeah that lock is pretty useless.. When I find ones in the j-yard with the lever locked it takes about 15 seconds to get the trunk open :bonk:

I learned since my car came with no trunk key that if you stab a screw driver in that lock beside the seat and turn the screwdriver with a pair of vice grips it will come unlocked. The reason i used the vice grips is because i could turn it slowly and i didnt do any physical damage to the lock itself so it looks like i never did anything. Thats the only forceful thing ive done to my car :p I felt guilty afterwords but it was ok.

If you can get into the car, then you can remover the rear seat with only two screws. The bottom comes out without tools. The back requires a 10mm socket.

exactly, you can pull the rear seat in like, 10 minutes tops. If you have JBL stereo, the extra amp and sub box might get in the way, but you should be able to stick an arm or some sort of impliment back there to grab them.

And you get the added bonus of finding change under the seat.

I think( and could be wrong) guys that he lost the keys period. not that he locked them in the trunk. Hence why we suggested unlocking the lock next to the seat.
