Lost cruise control and horn

As the subject states.I was driving home from work today and was feeling lazy.Went to set cruise and nothing,tried the horn and nothing.So I tested the horns with a jumper wire both work fine,tested to see if horns have power from harness and nothing.Tested the cruise control servo and power here,checked for vacuum leaks and there doesn't appear to be any,also tested the clutch switch,brake switch,removed air bag and no power to the horn contacts,also checked to make sure the cable is still connected to throttle body.Would the horn relay cause the cruise not to work and if so where abouts is it located at? I did a search on related issues and some pointed to the relay,I just can't seem to find it to check it out.If there is anything else that will cause this problem that I have overlooked please feel free to offer up suggestions.Really need to get this fixed as I am planning on going on vacation(finally)and I will be in my baby for about 1500 miles,(can you say leg cramps without feeling my pain).Sorry about the rant just wanted to make sure I covered everything.Thanks in advance.

I don't know if they are on the same circuit or not...but did you check the fuse in the fuse panel? It's a place to start I suppose.

SHONUT91...I've got the exact same problem. Two yrs ago for no reason my cc and horn stopped working. Horn works via the fob though? Had Doug Lewis at FPS look into it while my car was there for the 60K and even he was scratching his head. Talked to a mechanic (electronics expert)at the local Ford dealer and he had no idea either. I've learned to live without it but thank god I got a new car for road trips or the leg cramps would be unbearable. Good Luck!

same problem here. i hear it is a relay but i have no idea where the relay is. somewhere under the dash is what i have herad. does a chilton's manual have it in there? a mechanic i know told me to look at a chiltons because he had no idea to where that relay would be? i need help with this also.

your Cruise control and your horn share the same ground, if their is a problem with one of these devices then they both don't work. i took my steering wheel apart the other day and found this out.

I have checked all of the fuses related to these items.No,the chilton manual does not show the location of the horn relay,does anybody know where it is exactly.I will be pulling parts from one to check on the other to try and remedy this problem.As soon as I get it fixed I will post my findings here for those that have similiar issues.
I am still open for any and all suggestions on what could cause this.
