^^ This is my experience too, the gap is just to keep the sensor from being destroyed by the shutter wheel.

Everyone be nice I appreciate all the opinions from everyone but assuming now that the gap has nothing to do with my problem then that's a relief now on that note I was out driving today and I totally forgot that this happens but if I'm at a dead stop and try to take off pretty quick the car hesitates like its gonna stall and jerkes really bad but then it catches and takes off so the fuel pump I assume? If not that then a terrible air leak somewhere or maybe it is running that rich. Haven't got a chance to actually test the fuel pressure yet but that's the first thing I'm going to do when I get time just wanted to add that it does that.

What plugs are you running currently? Might want to check their condition. Also, sometimes the intake doesn't get seated/tightened properly, leading to a mysterious air leak. Any pinched wires? Verified butterflies operating correctly?

I think they are autolite plugs thats all I could afford at the time but they are brand new no pinched wires I made sure of that when I put the intake back on. It could possibly not be seated right I'll have to double check that but yes the butterflies are opening and working as they should.
