Hi, I recently put on myself some megan racing coilovers and didn’t really measure how much I dropped it but it was enough to level out the car the best I could.
I got an alignment today, they said the rear wheel camber could not get to the recommended specs but was good enough to drive on comfortably.
I will attach a picture of the alignment spec sheet and a picture of the car lowered.
I dont know if not driving it for a couple days changed my view or if im just crazy but without doing any real testing I just feel like ive lost power. Torque from a dig does not feel the same for some reason. Any thoughts or input would be appreciated.
Thanks.

With coilovers the car stays pretty flat when flooring it. Factory suspension the back squats and the front lifts so it would feel like a loss with a stronger suspension. But just feel. All the power is there. Car just stays smooth.
Same with the solid cradle mounts. The feel of the motor bending back used to make the car feel more powerful. My friends tell me all the my car dont feel to “throw you backy” anymore since lowering it and installing AD mounts but via draggy its alot quicker.

Its like comparing it to the Edelbrock carburetor i installed 10 years ago to replace my QuadraJet on my land yacht. The cars makes 50 more hp on the dyno but its smooth power.
Used to be floor it and bogs and then the big secondaries on the quadrajet open up and throw ya back like the 8000 pound car wants to do a wheelie. Also why they are called the QuadraBogs.
But cars feels slower with a smooth power band but is actually quicker and makes more power.
Weird how a car jumping up under power makes it feel more powerful.

rear camber issues are usually due to shocks. toe links are known issues for certain model years, but idk if they affect camber.

Here's a launch with BC Racing BR Series Coilovers (single adjustable). The fronts are set to 100% firm, the rears are 50%. It also has SMS trans mounts. I felt no perceived "loss of power"...it was quite the opposite for me.

Same boat. After install of H&R’s and transmounts it felt noticeably stronger and more planted.

Thanks for this response after more driving I think this is the exact thing I'm experiencing, its just a different feeling on a pull but no loss of power.
