Okay, this has been an annoying problem on the '94 ever since it arrived. The EBrake pedal is loose. It is very easy to move (not much force required) and so much so that it hangs below where it should when fully disengaged. Pushing it up just results in it falling back down and the BRAKE light remaining on all the time. How can this be adjusted or repaired in order to get rid of this problem?

Thanks :)

Is your e-brake even working? You may want to check to see if the cable is connected underneath. It is adjusted to my knowledge at the rear of the vehicle. by removing most of the slack out of the cable.

The E-Brake does work, although trying to do the engine mount test results in the car moving eventually... so I'm guessing that the e-brakes are not fully engaging? How do I fix this problem? I'm guessing it will fix the pedal problem accordingly.

Starting at the pedal:
1. Is the cable hung up either in the car, or going throuth the floor?
2. Are the links on the cable broken or bound alond the botton of the car?
3. Is the spring on the calipers broken or somehow fouled?

The e-brake system is not terribly complicated, so the solution should not be too far off.
