For those of you with the Ground Control coilover kit
http://www.ground-control-store.com/products/description.php/II=36/CA=23
I'm looking for some info.
#1. Can someone tell me the entire length of the threaded collar (front and rear)?
#2. The length of the threaded portion by itself (front and rear)?
#3. The Height of the springs (front and rear) in the standard kit?
#4. Does anyone know the spring rates in the standard kit (front and rear)?
#5. Can someone confirm that the springs are 2.5" diameter?
#6. How many coils are on each spring (front and rear)?
Normally the p/n# on the Eibach springs would answer #3 and 4 but I don't see an Eibach p/n# on them.
i.e. Eibach ERS coilover spring p/n# 0800.250.0500 denotes an 8" spring, 2.5" diameter, rated at 500 lbs/in.
I'm determining whether or not to re-engineer my unused IPT kit (with Gary Morrell's recommended spring rates and heights) or sell it and modify a Ground Control kit to my satisfaction. I plan on discussing some of this with Ground Control directly but I wanted to gather some pre-lim info if I could. Whatever I do, I will pretty much be building my own (somewhat) unique setup.
Thanks!
Ian
