After all these years, ****, it's time to replace the factory radio on my '89 SHO as the right stereo channel does not work anymore. I'm looking for modern features like Bluetooth, Android compatibility, and a front USB port, as well as convenient buttons for radio presents. Of course the display needs to be large and easy to read given its position on our dash. I'd like to keep it below $150.

Now, there are lots of single-DIN radios out there that fit this description. But when looking at modern aftermarket car radios, the real sticking point for me is the radio's menu navigation. I'm looking at demos on YouTube of high-end car radios that need complicated button presses just to raise the treble a notch. I don't want a radio that distracts me from the road.

So if any of you really loves your aftermarket radio because it's just SO easy to use, please share and tell us what radio you have. Thanks!

just visit Crutchfield and read their reviews and documentation - they have pretty much everything and good documentation of the alternatives.

I've tried that, but by the time you go through the manual it takes about 15 minutes to figure out one radio out of 30 or so.

I don't always liken the quality if sony units to highest tier, but for ease of use and reliability I have had great luck with several single DIN non touch screen models. Last one I had was long discontinued cdx-9XX series (forget exact model number) with an aux plug in front and a long usb pigtail that came out the back- but you could route it many places including the storage pocket below the radio or even the glove box. Loved that thing. Especially with remote control. Once you learn the buttons you don't usually have to take your eyes off the road vs modern touch screen double din units

I think it was this one http://www.sony.com.au/product/cdx-gt970us
