Looking for A/C Work Recommendation

Everything seems to run regarding the A/C system, but no cooling is happening. I assume the coolant gas (used to be Freon but is now ???) is gone and I am circulating air. I also noticed a slow leaking oil...it's clear and odorless, I assume this is freon oil.

So, what do you folks think? Is it as simple as having the coolant and oil replaced and tighten a nut to stop the leak, or can I expect a major overhaul?

Also, what kind of place should I bring my 93 ATX for A/C servicing? I am on the west side of Houston, near Hwy 6.

try this.....go to www.shotimes.com and read the write up on a/c troubleshooting. it will show you how to see if your a/c system is working properly. my car leaks the a/c coolant over the winter. i could get it recharged for the summer but i dont' know if i want to put out the 100+ dollars to do that. i have a small leak somewhere but there is no sense in fixing it......i love riding with the windows down anyway and u can't do a 0-130 mph run with the a/c on. LOL. good luck.
