Okay, its been months since our talk of racing again. Whats the general consesus, road course/autocross or drag racing?

Lets go, post up and answer the poll so we can get these damn things back on the track again.

And again, who is ready now, vs a month from now or does everyone want to wait and use their racing money to attend this years convention?

Chris I might need that crank pulley to check out and see if that fixes the problem. I'm thinking its something more balance related.

Put a Keg at the Gym and then at the flagpole and I will put up a good attempt though!!! I figured I could hold onto Brians leg and slingshot past him to the win!!!

Haven't touched it in almost 2 months. Its at my warehouse, I am going to visit it tomorrow...been working on other cars that were closer to completion.

I need to replace a chain tensioner and my strut rod recievers, but I can run it like that tho if I had to......

I'm really bothered by the tensioner, I guess I can reseal that front valve cover tho while I'm at it, and shim some valves! and put on the new intake with a better TB and IAC! gotta think positive

at least its the front one,the rear is way more "involved"
have you tried spraying some brake cleaner in the little passages? there might just be a chunk of crud in there blocking oil flow.

whats all involved for the front one? do I gotta take off the timing belt?

could I just remove the caps on the front exhaust cam and get it out of the way or does it not even require that?

I'm pretty sure you can get the gears off without pulling the cams.
