Do a search a few guys on here broke the whole thing down and talked about these types of things, what it comes down to it none of them work... That hair dryer cant make any real power because the motor needs more air than that thing makes, never mind geting extra power from it, Atleast thats what i remeber but could be wrong.

They make them for "every" car. (insert car here) Electric Turbo kit!!!

It's so you can say:

YAAAAAAAAY!
I've got turbo
I've got Turbo
YAAAAAAAAY!

Electric turbo doesn't even make sense... wouldn't it just be a centrifugal supercharger?

I knew a guy with a little red crapwagon (I forget what it was) but he had a switch on the dash that said "boost." He wired in a mini fan and taped some tubing to it. It made a little whirring noise, but according to him, it choked out the engine sometimes and it would stall at WOT. HAhahaha!

The auction says it flows 250 cfm. In case you didn't already know it, the sho crosses the 250 cfm mark at about the 4500 rpm range. Even the guy who bought it was too embarrased to leave his name.

I think your thinking of those tornado things.

These things pump like 2psi of boost.

As said it flows only 250cfm. Thats not enough air for a SHO up top, you need air/fuel to make power if your not getting enough of one or the other you will not make that powere. In this case not enough air so not nearly as much power :)

Was that the ESC 550 from Thomas Knight? I see he has a centrifugal version out now.
