How the **** do I get them off? I bought the car at a junkyard with no accessories. Do I need to order something from Ford?

I tried to order the lock nuts from Ford when I broke my lock. They said that it would be MUCH cheaper to buy a new set rather than order it in. They have a master key so they can get the locks off, while you may be able to get the unlocked lugs of with a socket set.

I beat mine off my 89 with a chisel and hamer. It took a while though. Person who had car before me lost the damn key and the Ford dealer said they couldn't get me one....so I used my best tool...the BFH wink

Yes, hammer on a socket and wrench it off. This will work if you use a good socket, preferably a craftsman. Use a size that will go on very tight and it should grip enough to wrench off by hand. I did this a few months ago for mine. I also worked at a tire shop and we did this all the time for people that didn't have their key. When your done, put the socket on the ground and hammer it on the side untill the nut comes out or even screw it back on a few turns and wiggle it till you can get it out of the socket. Good luck! headbang

I pounded a socket on the locks and it came right off. It took almost 10 min to get the nut out of the socket though on each wheel. A tire shop took mine and when I went back they said we gave it back to you.
