location of engine computer

where would a guy look for the computer in a 91 sho, i just got a x2j and want to swap out my original

Pull the glove box down and look up. I believe there is a bolt under the hood to remove the connector.

There's a little white plastic bracket with 1 bolt holding it in from inside the glovebox, I think it's a T15. After that you have to undo the screw together connector, it's a 10mm bolt and you get to it from the engine bay, it's in the middle of the massive connector. Once the connector is loose you pull the EEC out through the glovebox. Don't be afraid to yank on it, the rubber gasket around it makes it tricky to get out sometimes.
