I bid on this one and pulled the bid. It looks like a real clean here. I got more info from the seller so here's what I know to help anyone out that's interested.

1. That "low end rattle" he thinks is a rod bearing meaning it will need a motor most likely. I misinterpreted the ad thinking it was a lower suspension rattle at first...that's why I pulled the bid--not cost feasible for me as I live 475 miles away.

2. The A/C DOES work....a miracle.

3. There is a rust spot on the pass. side door about the size of a half dollar.

4. The owner does not know of anything else it needs. As of now the car runs but for how long I don't know--I couldn't risk driving it home and it cost too much to tow home. The car is near Orlando.

The description is rather poor so I figured I'd share what I know.

The guy was real nice about me retracting my bid once I found out it had a engine problem. He said he wanted potential buyers to be clear that the noise was the engine and also wanted to make sure the buyer got what they wanted. It's a beautiful car and honestly I still would love to have it. But with no good tools, garage, or the know-how to tackle putting an engine in..it's not worth it for me....and if I have to pay a mechanic to fix anything above and beyond a brake job....it would **** me financially. I had $710 bid on the car once...add $500 to ship it....add $500 for a cheap 3.0 engine somewhere, add another $700 or more to get it installed.....not including anything else the car needs....you get my point.
