Car: 2015 taurus sho non-pp.
Tuner: mycal tuner

160 Thermostat, pre-gapped sparkplug, mdesign CAI, stage 4 93 oct tuning
Assuming that the tuning.......

question 1. Can I restore it? (OEM setting)
question 2. fuel economy increases? Lowered?
question 3. Can I change the stage 4 87oct? (no additional cost, same tuner)
question 4. How can I get a horsepower? (non-pp sho)
question 5. LMS tuning is safe?

Thank you for your business!

1. Yes, just select the stock file and load it.
2. Your MPGs will increase if you can keep your foot off of that skinny pedal.
3. No additional cost for retuning or tune updates.
4. You need to have access to an AWD dyno to do power pulls.
5. Very much so.

As a very satisfied Livernois customer, I agree with their response. I was not aware that they would tune a SHO for 87 octane, though. Personally, I would always run the highest octane that is available in the area. Also, since you have a 2015, there is no stage 4 that is applicable to that year.

Same here, love my Livernois tune. It takes about 3 or 4 minutes to switch between tunes, the only time I do it is when I'm redeeming my 1.60 a gallon off giant eagle savings every month or two. They only have 92 octane at their gas station, so I switch to the 91 octane tune just til that tank is gone. It is super easy to switch back and forth.

I previous had a '12 PP SHO with the 4X tune, traded it in for a '13 PP SHO. Now running the V8 93 3bar Tstat DP tune. I can personally tell you that the V8 tune feels stronger than the 4X. Yes in sure the 4X is equal to the V8 tunes. Also remember each car is a little different. I've been running Livernois tunes for 2 years, and just finished a full season of Friday night drag racing. Car was deadly and very reliable. Not ONE issue!

2015pp with Livernois tune. From off the showroom for 6 months I never ran premium gas so I used the 91 tune and still got 12.99 in the quarter. Finally changed to 93 gas and 93 tune. Every Livernois change I've done to the car bumped up the gas mileage a little bit.

You will have to talk with them, they might be able to do something. I won't run any fuel less than 91 octane, esp being tuned. Looking for trouble, with less octane fuels.

I had back to back class wins in Sept. 5-6 second places. I've beat the normal, mustangs, camaros, challengers, chargers. Most of them had back R/T, so i usually caught them at 1/8 mile and drove around them. Was hard, cause 99% of the time, I was the fastest car in the class, so I did alot of chasing.

We can tune for 89, but like everyone here has recommended we also recommend that you run the best fueling option that is available to you. The reasoning is trifold.
1. The tuning is far more powerful.
2. Premium fuel tuning is far more efficient. So much so that your car will usually become so efficient that it becomes cheaper to run premium.
3. Your EcoBoost vehicles will be cleaner and last longer on premium.

When I traded my '12 for my '13, they put in 87. I went thru that tank fast, it caught me off guard cause I was used to the gas mileage from the tuned '12. Mileage is back to where the '12 was. I only run 93, but keep the MyCal and 2bar sensor just incase I get somewhere were no 93 is available.
