I have a 2010. Livernois 93-100 race tune. I have meth tune as well. I love the race tune. I've had it for years. It's been revised a few times for modifications to the vehicle and preference adjustments for shifting. I have their alky methanol system, downpipes, tuner and several tune revisions. I've had good experiences with them. I recommend them if youre not trying to make max power. Great power and reliability is what I know them for. Customer service isn't as good as it once was.
The 2013+ seems to have issues with the old v11 tune holding fuel pressure at high rpms in certain temps causing the pcm to freak out and hit the rev limiter as of it's gone into neutral on occasion. They've revised the tune since, albeit with a bit less power than before.
The bad is that their customer service is hit or miss.
They seem to have a very---- political method for handling things sometimes.
My main issue is that a lead calibrator told me they could not dyno tune my standard meth system (their brand, purchased through them 2weeks earlier) and that I would need to upgrade to their direct port meth system that they recently released that is only installed by them! (Hmmmm).
There are quite a few LMS shos and flexs Dyno tuned with the standard spray meth system.
I still recommend LMS. But only for individuals who dont have a history mod or power addiction. If you're planning on mods past cold air intake, Downpipes etc, such as upgraded turbos; my opinion is that they have limited growth potential, while being quite expensive.
I've since upgraded turbos and Intercooler, and I'm going to be past the power levels of what LMS will dyno tune me for.
I took SBS advice a year ago and purchased a SCT tuner and GearHead tune. Im finally gonna start logging this week. GH has given the platform new life with their Intercooler, turbos and tuning ability.
Alot of the other more popular and recent platforms (f150, mustang, focus st/RS) customers have been pretty happy with LMS. I think the sho just isn't worth their time any more.
GH, BrewcityBoost, Unleashed, and AjpTurbo all use the SCT tuning platform. So you can be a bit of a tuning whore to find the right one, if you like. (*Cough* SBS

)
LMS has their own proprietary tuning platform/device.
In my opinion, the question is how far do you want to go?
