So I tuned the 5.0 last night with a 93 Octane tune from Livernois, car is totally bone stock and OMG what an amazing difference. Unbelievable for an N/A car to pick up that much with just a tune. I was expecting a little seat of the pants difference not hold on for dear life shift fast difference!

I have to say the difference is a lot like when I got the pully put on my Cobra, it's that drastic. Tonight I also happened across someone selling a Heartthrob Axle Back so I picked that up tonight as well and installed it. NOW it sounds like a Mustang :hail:

Anyway just wanted to post some props to Livernois for a sick tune, if you guys have other Fords Livernois is the way to go! Now if I can just figure out how to Datalog the thing, keeps saying invalid (I have the latest firmware too)...

Thanks for the kind words Bill!

The SCT device won't datalog for the 5.0L yet.

Ford did a great job with the Mustang and I can't think of another N/A car that picks up the way the Mustang does from just a tune.

A few guys with our tune claim almost a second better in the 1/4 mile with the tune.

They also respond well to simple bolt-on's. I went 11.60 Stainless Works Headers, Catted Mid-Pipe, and Catback, 4.10 Ring & Pinion, Aluminum 1-piece driveshaft, Livernois Motorsports Dyno Tune, and skinnies/drag radials.

I went 10.82 N/A at full weight with some engine mods (minus spare tire and the skinnies & drag radials).

I've only gotta say one thing! If the 'Stang responded like the SHO did to a tune, it's gotta be a monster. The guys at Livernois are wickedly sick! With that being said, I'm glad there on our side. Love my SHO with the tune.......Enjoy your ride!
