Community,
So I've had my 2014 SHO for about 14 months now and I am ready to make my car more enjoyable. I was considering getting a tune but I was told that with a Stage 1 tune there isn't going to be any noticeable performance difference. So then that would take me to looking at a Stage 2 tune. According to LMS website they highly recommend their thermostat and pre-gapped spark plugs for their tunes. I also talked to someone at Livernois and they had said for Stage 2 they recommend CAI, Thermostat, Plugs, Downpipe. Though I see on their website a tuning kit that has CAI, plugs, thermostat and the tune.
Basically what I'm getting at is I'm not ready to spend a lot of money on items like Downpipes, exhaust, CAI, 3Bar Map Sensory etc... I'm trying to get a lot of performance and not spend over $800 right now.
From those of you that have tunes, is there a benefit to stage 1? If I decide on Stage 2 do I need anything more than the tuner itself?
