Mycal tuner won't allow me to return to stock. It says it cannot find the vin number and now the car won't start. Please someone from Livernois help me ASAP.

Might just be a glitch with the tuner. How many times did you have a go at it? Tried a battery disconnect/reset? If a battery is failing, it can cause all kinds of electronic weirdness.

I tried to do this 6 times. Restarted the tuner with computer and also updated it 2times. I also went into tuner preferences and it says there isn't an available vin number. As if it's wiped out of the tuner. Never happened before. Battery is fine.

Sorry I didn't mention this earlier, but it was recently noted that the power to the tuner has to be from a sturdy source. Don't use a minimal cable/power supply to run it. Better overspec'd than under.

I ended up towing the car to the dealer, re flashing the car and loosing the factory warranty "at that dealership". Per LMS, apparently my tuner is one of a bunch that are having problems from the manufacturer. LMS helped in every way they could and were nothing but helpful. Very happy with the customer service and Anthony.

You can rest assured that they cannot, at their dealer or any other, revoke your warranty. No mod can revoke the entire warranty anyway. To deny a claim they must have proof your mid did the damage.

If you go in for a faulty O2 sensor they cannot denybut because you changed the rims, etc etc.

Did you get a replacement tuner, Spoilt22? If no damage was done to the vehicle, then no warranty issues. However, since there will likely be a note in the system, if a MAJOR issue does arise (fingers crossed it does not), then POSSIBLY this incident could work against the warranty covering it, IF proven that it was the culprit.

No damage done to the car. All is well with the car now. Yes LMS replaced my tuner and all is good now. Either way with the warranty, I only have 3k miles left so it isn't that big a deal. The extended warranty will cover all the big expensive stuff.
