Does any one know the bulb number, or where to get the little bulbs that go in the dash clock and fog lamp switch? Is this a part any store should have?

Hey guys- I got the booklet/link from a fellow forum-er, so I don't take credit for it, I'm just relaying the info...! :)

http://www.mouser.com/catalog/624/48.pdf

Should be the "F" bulb- that is the info I got... Much better than the insane $$$ the dealer wanted, after the fourth dealer I went to actually knew what I was talking about...

I haven't ordered them yet, I think the EATC's on mine are the shorter bulb shown, and the fog light switch is a longer bulb? The soft EATC had longer bulbs than the hard button EATC did that I looked at...

Good luck! I have to try them too, but I'd rather be out a couple bucks than $crazy from the dealer

As an alternative I found a replacement bulb at radioshack that works perfectly. Go to RS and get part number 272-1092 for ~$1.49. This is just the bulb with out the base. You can undo the leads from the old base, pull out the bulb, insert the new one, and rewind the leads. Total time is about 2 min.

Speaking of bulbs. When attempting to get my engine codes from watching the check engine light blinks, I found that my check engine light is out. I wonder if the last owner(s) drove with it on all the time. How hard is it to get in there to change it out? Is it a bulb, or do I have to change the cluster?? If I can change it, I'll do it while I change one of my AC vents, ETAC module, and rear defrost switch. Oh and one day the wiper/blinker arm that turns on the wiper everytime I use my turn signal.

The easy way is to remove the cluster to change the light bulbs in it. Im not sure about the bulb length. I did use the same bulb in the antenna up switch as the clock even though the base on the lamp in the clock was much taller than the antenna up switch.

Wow mine is the exact opposite. When my wipers are on and I use the right hand blinker the wipers turn off until the blinker is canceled.
