Hey All! I have had my one car off of the road since September. A "friend" of mine said he could do the tranny swap for me at a good price. We started in the end of September and my car is still screwy and now he doesn't want to answer his phone! After months of him saying "I'll be there tonight" and making me cancel all of my other plans and appointments he doesn't show (3-4 times a week of me waiting all day). We've had to find rides to school for our 7 year old, and life without a car for a family.... Well anyway, the tranny is in, but there is a coolant leak and some minor stuff like a an exhaust leak, the throttle sticks, and the brakes seem a little screwy, the power steering isn't working and the kid said he fixed hey (pulley frozen or whatever) but that is not as important as the rest. I normally wouldn't ask for anyone's help, but my wife is 8 months pregnant and we need to have this car done soon. Is there anyone who is local to my area (Boston) that would be willing to help me figure this thing out. I don't have any tools and not much money but I could supply beer/food/and any parts from the donor car I can spare (93 gr/mocha full) and stuff like that. If you can help out PM or email me [email protected]

Thanks Robert

Marine. Call NESHO or if you're looking for a less formal approach to fixing your car maybe Trembley (RStalveyARFF) can lend you a hand. He's a USMC brother.

I'm too far away and don't know enough about these cars to help you.

Good luck with that, and to your expectant wife
