i have always found forums have the right guys to answer the question you have.. 1995 SHO sunroof switch and a fuel door spring it wont pop open but the cable works where can i find this stuff? had no idea some parts would be this hard to find any help?

I had to get a spring from a junkyard car. There is no spring inline with the release cable, it is just the piece that attaches to the fuel door. There are options with the sunroof switch. If you use the search forums function above, there should be an option or two archived on the board from repairing the current one to swapping in a used one to adapting a switch from other Ford cars. I think I posted a link in a recent(ish) post about this subject.

the Contour sunroof switch is a popular replacement.

the fuel door spring should be the same on any Taurus or Sable of the right vintage.

Contour switch mod is great. I haven't had a single problem with mine.
