Done:

ALSFB's

Will be doing:
Moog CC's Cut 1 1/2 and 1 Coil
Monroe Sensa-Trac's
22/26 Swaybars with TPR Bushings and new Endlinks
Strut Tower Braces Front and Rear
Sub-Frame Connectors (long from Nook)
96+ Brake upgrade

Am I missing anything important? Let me know what you think of the setup. The whole shabang will cost about, umm, $1000. Is it worth it? I know i need new struts and springs but the rest is just for fun. I want a car that will handle nicely, but dont really want to spend tons of money.

How are your tires? Replace all the strut/springs hardware, I believe there is a kit that includes the strut mount/bearing kit w/misc.

Are you really going to install 26mm front and 22mm rear sway bars?

If the SHO is a keeper this is a great investment as youll notice a difference at all speeds, unlike engine mods.

If you can go for the tokico struts. To my knowledge the moog coil spring rates are close to those of lowering springs which will **** any replacement type strut. Cutting the coils also makes a need for struts that can dampen better than stock struts. Also do a search about the front strut tower brace ive read that its not as beneficial as the rear and maybe uneeded. 96 brake upgrade will be nice but getting some bias plugs and stainless lines will make it even better both are relatively inexpensive.

I did what you are now doing a few years ago. Here is what I would do additoinally.

Strut mounts. Police ones for the taurus.
New strut bushings and control bushings ... basically any bushing that you are near, replace. I dont know how many miles are on yours, but it is worth it, since you are there.

One of the biggest things you can do for your suspension and handling, tires. Get some good sticky tires. Even with all you are planning on doing, if you have crappy tires, it aint going to help.

Kenny, NotSoSlowSHO, is running cut Moogs with Monroe struts. he enjoys it. i am running cut Moogs on Tokicos, i love it. while the Moogs are considered OE replacement, modifying them enhances their performance and urges the need for performance struts/shocks.

ive been on the cut Moogs and Tokicos for over a year now and its every bit as tight as it was from day 1.
