Recently I have noticed a slight bucking, as I call it, when I'm idling at stoplights. It's not terribly harsh, but it feels like the car is jumping a little. What could this be?

No, I'm not welded yet. This month, I'm making an appointment and going. I promise.

I noticed that I have pretty same thing but I can see RPM bobble a little. This happens at idling when it's warmed up (idles around 0.6).

i had a miss from a bad rear coil that never threw a code.
the only way i could fix it was to replace all 4 coils in the rear.

regarding you...now i'm starting to think it's not a coil & you've got TC problems.
you say "it bucks". that's not a coil.
a coil is a "miss" that's usually noticed at low rpm's (under 1K).
bucking is the TC locking in and out.
usually the only fix is to get inside the tranny.

I don't know if it's related, but my air just stopped working.

It's not harsh enough to be a TC lockup, I don't think. I might do a Tranny flush/Filter change, and see if that helps anything.

I guess it could be a miss. I don't really know what a miss should feel like.

Yep, probably a weak coil. Won't throw a code till it's really, really dead. In the mean time, it'll just arc the spark energy out the little cracks in the case of the coil. It can take a long time for the coil to actually die and flip a code. Best bet is to ID the coil and replace it.

Yeah, I'm going to do a fuel filter next weekend, it needs it anyway. Any specific brands?

I need to get my AC fixed. it's like 105 outside.
