There are a few different cams available for the V6's but no one place with information on all of them. The most common ones are:

3.0 Stock Cams
3.2 Stock Cams
Sho Shop Stage 1
Sho Shop Stage 2
SHOnut +10
SHOnut +20
SHOnut +40
SHOnut Tri-Flow

If you have one of these in your car, if you could reply with the following info I'll compile it into a master list for future reference:

-Low end performance
-High end performance
-Upper RPM where power drops off
-Driveability changes (ex. easier/harder to start off)
-Fuel economy changes
-Description of torque curve (ex. No effect until runner open, then pulls super hard until redline)
-Dyno curve and or HP/Torque if available
-Other mods on your car

If there are other cams or other info that would be useful let me know and I'll add them to the list!

Here's the preliminary compilation:
---------------------------------------------------------------------------

Characteristic |3.0 Stock Cams | 3.2 Stock Cams |
Low End | N/A | N/A
High End | N/A | N/A
Upper RPM | 6200 RPM | 5200 RPM
Driveability | Less mid tq than 3.2 | More mid tq than 3.0
Fuel Economy | Worse than 3.2 | Better than 3.0
Torque Curve | Lots of high end | Lots of mid tq
Hp/Torque | 220 hp / 200 ft/lb | 220 hp / 215 ft / lb

I think there is a difference between the 3.0 and the 3.2 cams as I have noted people switch them around (I think the 3.0 cams into the 3.2).

From what I understand the 3.2 cams drop off a bit earlier to keep the 3.2 making the same horsepower as the 3.0 even though the 3.2 has 15 more ft/lbs of torque

On the stock cams, only the intake cams are different between 3.0/3.2. The 3.2 cams have noticeably more low end torque. This means for a daily driver / grocery-getter you will get better gas mileage with 3.2 cams. The trade-off is the torque curve drops off almost 1000 rpms sooner at the top end. That means your 200 hp 3.2 will make 215 hp with 3.0 cams.

I had no idea there were so many cams available for the SHO engines.

It might be folklore, but I remember hearing that some early cams were simply stock cams with the heel ground away (the circle part of the cam lobe) to give you a higher lift. And it did not end well.
It sounds suspicious now as it would take some trick shimming on an overhead cam set-up.

That is why I never looked into alternative cams, as I thought the tale might be true.
