I ordered 15 feet of SS braided 4-5 yrs ago, just barely enough. If you need tips on cutting it let me know, its a pain.

I would never use SS again, it sucks. AQP Socketless all the way.

I say 16 if fine for just the feed line, but if your setting it up like the way Shonut has it on his website, it would be

tank to filter 16 feet
from the filter a 3 way splitter (or two t's) two feed lines to each rail 14" each (total 28")
from the 3-way splitter one -8an to pressure regulator 12"-16"
from regulator to your factory return line 12"

so 20 feet should cover it

If your upgrading it later on, like most, with a dual feed or single large pump you have to consider what you'll end up with. For me a dual -8an added to my single system now would save some money. But a large -12an would be less piping but maybe actually more more than just going dual.

I don't know, I guess it could be close to 1000hp with reasonable fuel pressure but I might consider E85 down the road so my -8AN feed line won't be enough, OffRoad or Toolman are probably the best people to ask, hopefully they can chime in.

The 255 walbro comes with a rubber 3/8" feed line, I'm talking about the one clamped to the pump about 3" long and attaches to the fuel pump/level assembly, so after the tank -8AN has an actual inside diameter is closer to 3/8" than 1/2" and it seems to be fine for my setup. I'm running it at 46 relative psi (w/ boost fp is 60psi) and never had a pressure drop off however, i've never ran the 48 accel's more than 75% duty cycle w/ 105 octane and 5200rpm. I have all this in my Honda but I took the entire fuel setup from my old SHO. Only difference between mine and the sho is that line from the pump outlet to the fuel tank assembly.

If you take a look at the SHO assembly,

http://www.ebay.com/itm/93-94-95-FO...Parts_Accessories&hash=item19ce012ce6&vxp=mtr

the feed line from the pump outlet to the bulk head assembly is a tight bend, on my car I just cut it out (it came with a banjo) and put a 3/8" to -8an male adapter then a nice 90 degree an fitting to the 8an feed line all the way to the filter. You have to take out all the banjo's and factory bends, before you go spend $300 in fittings from Summit post what you come up with.
