Did those LEDs come in an array like that when you bought them? Any chance of manufacturing some, or maybe a writeup? They look great by the way.

Maybe I can get kzoosho to make some LED tails if you're not interested in manufacturing. Are you still doing those kzoo?

If not, I may be able to make my own set, assuming you can buy the LEDs already laid out like that. I'm no electronics expert, but I learned how to solder back in junior year of high school.

they didn't come in the array, if you look at the original posts i've got a pic of how i soldered each individual leg (each LED has 2 anode legs and 2 cathode legs) then did the connections by soldering wire between each. i may make some more, but will have to finish them beforehand.

i don't know if brian (kzoosho) is making any more, but i'd ask for any discussion of sales etc please don't post here, this is a project thread not a for sale, so i don't want to get it locked/hijacked.

Ah, the reason I thought they came as an array on those boards was because they look so clean and manufactured.

like an idiot, however,i left my camera in pittsburgh and i'm traveling (NJ and MD) until jan 6. so no on car pictures for a while.


hm now what should i do with this extra set of stock tails i have...
