I wasn't having much luck finding fully functional used or new replacements for the Gen 2 spoiler mounted led brake light. I got this truck/trailer brake/tail light bar off Amazon for $13 and was able to make it work:

It is much brighter than the stock unit, covers the whole cutout from the inside, and was just flexible enough to conform to the bow in the spoiler so it mounts flush to the inside of the spoiler against the old gasket. The stock unit has a raised surface that fits into the cutout so the lens cover is flush with the outside face of the spoiler. This replacement is recessed the 3/16" thickness of the spoiler but still looks fine to my eye. It took about an hour to do the wiring and bend up some metal into a couple of brackets to hold it in place. The replacement light bar is light enough you could probably just tack it in place with some clear silicone and it would stay put.
