Hey,

A few of the LED lights in the spoiler of my 1995 SHO have died. For some reason the paint on the spoiler, and spoiler only started chipping so I was going to have it removed and repainted anyway. What are my options for having a shop replace the LED light bar? I can't find an OEM one so I'm guessing it'll have to be custom. Any suggestions?

Thanks,
Ed

I'd say you could find a used one pretty cheaply. Your other option is to pull apart the non-functional one and repair it. I have instructions on one of my computers that I'd be willing to email you. I'll PM you my email address.

Junkyard / Ebay / Here in the WTB section.

Or you can fabricate one with a linear DEL circuit , theres one guy here who actually made one.

I'd be interested in that info too. I also have some lights out in the bar. I guess someone tried to fix it too, and the whole bar is jacked. I have some experience soldering, and can probably do it. ...I just never bothered to try. ...But I should!

I've been scouring the internet for a few days and unfortunately I haven't been able to find one. =( I'll try posting in the WTB section.

mtxsho94 has the bar which he is willing to sell me. I should've checked my messages before posting in the classifies - which I believe was the wrong section anyway.

I really appreciate everyones help! Now I know my first stop for SHO parts and advice.

I've gotten a few PM's asking for the brake light repair instructions. I've uploaded them to my web server and I've included the link below. Only thing I ask is that everyone be kind to my bandwidth.

http://www.libertyev.com/sho/Spoiler Brake Light Repair.ex_

After you download it, you need to rename the file to a ".exe" file and you should be good to go. My cousin (SHO92) sent this to me last year when the light in my spoiler went out.
