Okay i came across a spoiler that looks like a thunderbird sc one. it has a led brake light in it. i am thinking about installing the whole deck lid with spoiler on to my 89 sho, the deck lid is on a 89 slo now. Has any one figured out what needs to be added for the led to work? i assume that i need to use some sort of converter in order for them to work.
In the past i have found that giving a led 12 volts it works but sucks all the power available so i would think if i hooked it up to exsisting brake lights it would work but not leave any power for the brake lights..
Has anyone found a junction that could be used to allow the a seperate circuit? I have read that ford made a juntion that was hide some where that was used for trailer lights pigtail..any truth to it?
If any one has installed a led light in there gen 1 How did you do it? and how long has it been done?
