Okay i came across a spoiler that looks like a thunderbird sc one. it has a led brake light in it. i am thinking about installing the whole deck lid with spoiler on to my 89 sho, the deck lid is on a 89 slo now. Has any one figured out what needs to be added for the led to work? i assume that i need to use some sort of converter in order for them to work.
In the past i have found that giving a led 12 volts it works but sucks all the power available so i would think if i hooked it up to exsisting brake lights it would work but not leave any power for the brake lights..

Has anyone found a junction that could be used to allow the a seperate circuit? I have read that ford made a juntion that was hide some where that was used for trailer lights pigtail..any truth to it?
If any one has installed a led light in there gen 1 How did you do it? and how long has it been done?

what are you talking about!? LEDs to not "suck all the power from regular bulbs"... LEDs hardly suck any power at all, that's why they're so popular. Just splice them in and be done with it!

Exactly, just tap into your regular brake lights & you're done. L.E.D. (light emiting diode) dont use up hella power. They use a lot less than a regular bulb.
