hay i have a 90 sho thats keeps fouling up its spark plugs. I replaced them with the right motorcraft plugs. But i have yet to replace the wires. is there anything else that might cause the plugs to foul up.
The car runs great once a new set of plugs get put in and after about 700 miles they seem to foul up and the car drives real slow. there is no oil in the plug wells, and i reacently replaced the fuel filter.
thanks

Is it running rich?

How are they fouled?

What most older SHO's will benefit from is new o2 sensor's (Bosch ones), a new ETC (Motorcraft), a complete disassembly of the intake and complete cleaning, and then reassembled with new gaskets, and cleaning the MAF.

Depending on how many miles are on your SHO, you might benefit from new wires.

It depends greatly though on how the plugs are fouling to what the problem is. What I listed above might fix your problem, but mostly it is things that don't often get done that will greatly benefit the car.
