Folks, here's my basic plan for anyone who may be interested in Kneff Lake camping:
Wednesday Aug 29th: Depart in eve for trip north.
Thursday Aug 30th: At the campground
Friday-Sat Aug 31st-Sept 1st: At the campground/canoeing the AuSable (canoeing will take place on the better of the two days.)
Sun Sept 2nd: ??? (either at the campground if weather/conditions are nice and/or others come later, or visiting my folks)
The campground will likely be full by Friday, so for anyone thinking about going and getting your own site, I suggest either getting there early Friday or on Thursday. Or you can share my site; two tents per site allowed.
Otherwise, I think the Peach Festival and/or Maumee Bay are the activities of choice for Labor Day weekend. I'll leave the specific details up to the interested GLSS'ers.
