There has been a LOT of talk of KYB struts in the past, some good some bad but, people have complained of leaks and rusting. They are not too expensive, but they can not hold performance springs like Eibach. If you are looking for a good strut but not to expensive go with Sachs struts, Sachs made the original SHO struts for ford. www.shox.com

I have KYB GR2's on my SHO with no problem's yet. I bought them for $91ea in fall of 2000.

Shoman594, i'm curious, y cant they hold Eibach springs? When they can hold my lower lowering SS springs? Is it the quality issue?

The KYB GR-2 are probably the best of the replacement type struts out there for a Taurus. But because their valving is geared more for comfort, they are boarder line for use with the Eibach or Intrax springs. It's best to use the Tokiko or Konis struts with the Eiback and Intrax springs in a SHO.
