monroe fo sho. There is no other option. (other than konis, of course)

AAP has a very good price on them; I believe RockAuto is having a big sale on them (buy 3, get 4th free).

That's a good question...

Rock auto has 2 different monroe's

Monroe matic plus strut $43

Or sensa trac srtuts $54 buy 3 get one free on these

Not sure which would be better if you were to buy monroe

Sensatrac struts are an 'upgrade' from the Monroe matic struts.

basically there are only two choices. Monroe sensa-trac or Konis. It sucks, yes, but that's all there is. Unless you can scrounge up a set of tokicos from somewhere...

Tow truck came to school to pick up a car. Attractive mid 20's woman driving it. Saw my car and said they had one just like it, and scrapped it. Blown transmission and ruff interior. Tokicos all around. She said she heard they were hard to find. I almost kicked her. :thumb:

If you know anyone with a dealer license you can pick up some sensa tracs for dirt cheap and not have to wait for them to be shipped, that and not have to pay for shipping as well. Theres only 3 parts stores in my area. Advance Auto, Napa, and Checker auto parts. I'm not sure which he goes through but i can get them through him for 153 (no tax for dealers) out the door all day. Just waiting for the shim kit rental to get here so i can send it back, retrieve my deposit and BUY them.

so if i wanted to buy the monroe sensa trac struts, would they work well with the eibach springs and keep my car lowered?

this is the set up i have and it works very well. i have not cut any coils but with 3k miles on them they have settled in nice and the ride is lower than before. i plan on cutting two coils from the front and 1 from the back this weekend. ill let you know how it looks after that. ill take pics before and after.

I have about 15,000 miles on my monroe sensa-trac setup. The ride performance is nearly identical to stock struts. If you want stock comfort and marshmellow, go with sensa-trac. If you want performance look elsewhere.
