Should the KYB GR-2 Struts, and eibach springs work well for my 97 GenIII??? even thought they arent rated for SHO's, does anyone recommend this setup, or any different setups?? What else should i replace after doing this other than the sway bar?

I don't personally know of anyone who has tried this combo, but we have installed the KYB's on a couple of customers cars and they are happy with them. The only thing we've noticed, and we're not sure if it's because of using the KYB's with stock springs, but there seems to be a tendency for the front strut mounts to fail with the KYB's. Noticed it with stock, Moog, and NAPA mounts.

So far two people have had bad things to say about the KYB's. Anyone have any recommendations as to what should be used?

Are Tokicos or Konis available for the gen 3?

If yes, go that route, as the KYBs won't last that long and youll have a very heavy pogo stick for a car when they wear out.

I just put on some Gabriel Ultras from AZ. $50 and a lifetime guarantee. Works good for me. See thread in the general discussion forum about OE lowering springs.
