I don't know much about the 711's but the Ecsta Supra 712's I have on my 93 right now are excellent in dry and wet conditions. I have the 225/55ZR-16's on the factory "Slicers" and with a little over 10k on them they still look and work like new. They are relatively quiet at all speeds and have quite a bit of grip. The only thing they don't do so well in is snow or ice, although that isn't too big of a problem during this time of the year.

I have been looking at these as well, they look like awsome tires, but one questions there is the 225/55ZR-16 95W B and 225/55R-16 95V B whats the difference? The tread where on the second tire is 380 vs. the first tire at 280. The greater the number the more tread to wear correct? So this means the slightly more expensive one(2nd one) lasts longer? Clerification on this would be great.

-Thanks

I have the 712's. They are my first kuhmo's and they are holding up very well. They had less than 150 miles on them when I went to the convention and I ran the **** out of them at the Summit event and the drag strip. They didn't chunk or tear the edges. They wore a little bit but not much. Not bad considering the abuse. Also when I was on my way home one night it was raining extremely hard. Some cars were pulling off the road. I just kept cruising along at 90mph without the wipers on.(I love rain X) I only remember hydroplaining once, but it was on a straightaway with a lot of water crossing the road. I had the Summitomo HTRZII's before the Kuhmo's. I like the Summitomo's and I think they had a little more grip but I only got around 8,000 miles out of them until they were bald. I think the Kuhmo's will hold up a little longer.
