Knuckle Bushing

I was getting an oil change on my 2012 and the right rear has some excess wear and needs to be replaced. The dealer stated the Knuckle bushings need replacing on both sides. Is this the bushing only? or do I have get the entire assembly? They quoted about $600.00 not sure if this was per side or both. 93,000 miles on the car with E???? springs.(Name escapes me) on the car. Also anyone use the Kumho Ecsta 4XII tires?

Did they not give you an estimate sheet? If you are referring to the upper arm rearward bushing (back wheels), that is held on by a bolt, so bushing only replacement is probably viable. No idea whether you have to take off the upper arm to do it in the first place.

The lower arm bushings DO have a P/N, but nothing in the manual about replacing them. Maybe they can be pressed out?

No estimate sheet. It was from a Ford dealer with great discount for the oil change. Yes, that was the springs.

Do you know of a good place for service in southern Wisconsin?

Find an alignment shop with a good reputation and ask for a rear wheel alignment only. If they cannot do it, due to worn items, they will give you a list of parts and an estimate to do it.
