KNOCKING NOISE

every time I drive the car and come to a complete stop I some times hear knocking noises coming for what the front driver side of the engine. Any one knows what causes this.

You need to be more specifec. Is it while your coming to a stop. Does it decrease as your stopping? Is it only after you stop so in a sense anytime your idling.
