My car seems kinda sluggish when you lay on it to about 4-5k. So I am wondering if my secondaries are stuck open. And I hope this isnt a stupid question but can you deffinetly tell when the secondaries are opening? It never felt this sluggish before. Thinking about taking my intake off and cleaning it. So how do I check in the secondaries are open? Also I think my cv joint is busted would that take away some power to the front wheels? The car runs great.

Thanks Brad

Unplug the vacuum line to them (make them stay open) and see if there is a difference. Or you should be able to see that they are closed at idle. Although, cleaning the intake isn't a bad idea. Make sure the intake is grounded good too.

Put the car in neutral on level ground. Pop the hood. Rev the motor pretty high (at least to 4K rpms). Watch the secondary vacuum's to see if they let go and the secondaries open.
