Keyless entry stopped working... Kind of...

So I think a friend may have been fiddling with the key pad to my car, when I got back to it my remote didn't unlock the doors, and the keypad on the door didn't even illuminate (I initially thought it was a dead battery)... Open the door with the key and the interior lights work fine, car starts fine. These are my symptoms:

- Interior Lock/Unlock buttons don't work from driver or passenger side.
- Key pad doesn't illuminate, code doesn't work, can't lock using last 2 buttons
- If I push Lock on the keyless remote, the horn honks and the doors don't lock.
- If I push Unlock on the keyless remote, the interior lights come on and the doors don't unlock.
- Trunk button does nothing.
- Panic button sounds horn once.

This is a weird one I think... Car has never done this before and couldn't see anything similar in a search...

undo the bat on the car and let it sit for 5 mins and see if that clears the prob

It sounds like a problem with the RKE module.

Im having a similiar problem,did the code change as described in the Sticky,it worked however when its locked and you pull up on the handle the pad doesnt light up as it previously did,until you touch the keypad,Sorry to threadjack btw

My power seats also don't work..... Windows work fine... Owners manual says Fuse 14 is Power lock, Keyless entry, and power windows, if the fuse was shot the windows wouldn't work...
