Just ordered the new K&N Cold air Typhoon kit with piping, part number 69-3531TS if anyone is interested. Alternative to the 1300$ hynessey performs dual cold and the Air raid

I'm getting ready to place an order for an air raid box and Livernois tunes. I'm curious to know what went into your decision to go with K&N. When I checked them a few months ago, I found that they had a kit for the 3.5 but not a specific kit for the "eco-boost" so I crossed them off the consideration list.

The AirAid system can be had with a paper filter, instead of the oiled one for a few $$ more. While I have a home-made system using RotoFab parts and an AEM paper filter which looks much like the K & N setup, I would likely buy the AirAid based on the filter enclosure design, and it's location if it had been available when I created mine.

Just my 2 cents. I've always been a fan of the way a cold air intake looks. I never really liked the stock one or anything that's has the "box" look to it. I'm going with the K&N personally.

Does this kit only fit the 2011 or does it fit the 2010 Eco Boost as well?
