First, why did you disconnect the batty? Resetting the PCM can be done without touching the batty.

Second, was the A/C working fine before this?

Check the connector at the A/C clutch. The battery cables run right by there and it's possible when you disconnected the batty that you dislodged the connector.

I did the 30 minute hard reset for the computer(pull negitive battery cable off the battery for 30 minutes, put back on). I read on SHOTimes that if you have an undersized battery that it can screw with the head a/c unit.. I have a undersized battery because it is smaller than the bettery holder itself, think this may be it? I'm going to see whats going on, i.e. check for clutch engagement etc. Man this sucks, first my '90 doesn't have A/C now my '93! God cursed SHOs!

As long as the battery is capable of supplying potential to the loads and maintain a voltage above 12.0V, the physical size will not make one darn bit of difference. The greatest drain on the battery is during starting. If it can spin the starter fast enough to fire the engine the battery should be sufficient. It may not last as long as a higher capacity battery, but it shouldn't affect the electrical loads.
