Like I said above, just heard about this.
A fellow I know has been told at this point he will need a new engine for his '13 F150 with 180,000km (111k miles.)
Started with the odd rattly start and is now a rattle start from cold every time.
It looks like timing chain stretches and things get misaligned then engine chews itself up. He had the pan dropped and 3 magnet passes later it still was pulling metal.
So far I have only read TSB's about F150's regarding this issue.
Are we affected?
Should we be concerned?
