I took this walking back from the late night gas station across from where I work. It was the only car in that section of the lot. Just beautiful..

Once I have a snooze (worked the night shift) I am takin the bull for a cruise..

I love this car. I love the sound it makes and the reactions of people that hear and see it.

Not that I don't have haters but those that are, are seeing why this car is special. It's a menacing beast and people definitely notice it.

I pulled into the lot at the local Tim Hortons, and parked it beside a BMW M3.. I didn't notice a second M3 a few spaces away. Nice cars... upon leaving another newer M3 passed me on the way in.. my point is this; there are many cars on the road that are in the range of the SHO, at least where I live, there are all those cars, and I only see one SHO.. mine. I know there is another one or two I have seen and admired but a very rare sighting. In fact I drove two hours one way and two hours back and not one SHO..

They are elusive and when people see it they are taken by it. I have 63 Falcon ragtop I show off on weekends when I can so I am used to all the questions and discussions .. but the attention this cars gets is crazy.. "that's a Taurus?!?!"

When they go for a ride... faces get melted and minds are blown..

we are all in same boat, very few if any others we see when we drive. there are a couple black ones in town but see them very rarely & that's in a town the size of st louis. ford used us to test the engine for their baby the f-150 & promptly forgot about us. nobody knows the figures for 13-15 but i'd bet is less than the 4000 hellcats that dodge sold in 1 year. my guess total sho's sold 10-15 is less than 15k

I like tha anonymity of the Taurus body. Since they're used as rentals, nobody gives my car a second look. And because it looks so similar to the unmarked SFPD Interceptors, the cops don't really pay attention when I'm doing dumb shit. It's a total win-win for me.

The interior impresses people more than the exterior. I drive for a ride-sharing service and am always asked by surprised passengers what kind of Ford it is. I've heard a few nice stories from former SHO owners while they're riding in the car, too.

It's just nice to be able to drive a car that rivals a BMW 3-series. Drop a few inexpensive mods into it and it's an M3 fighter, while remaining $25k less than that car!
