Whaddup, y'all? Sorry I've been out of the loop for so long. It's kinda hard for me to get ahold of a computer. Only way I know what's going on is asking Joe Dirt, and he don't tell me nothin. Nothing happening in the immedate future aside from the camping trip, but that isn't really so much a SHO meet as it is just a vacation from the rat race. Jim is looking to put together a Cedar Point trip in October. Other than that I'm busy with work and (hopefully) moving soon.

HA! that is great....tim is always good for a luagh....pretty good guy....

I will be up at Martin saturday night....hoping to put the last nail in the coffin on the stock motor....cause its on its last leg as it sits........
I have detonated that poor engine like 10 times now....had to re-set up the intake twice....and at this very moment for some odd reason it keeps throwing the belt..........so I get to put another new set of plugs in it, retap the intake for the nozzle, and find a different belt (one wiht less grooves) becasue it keeps slipping off one pully, and eats the belt.

good thing I have 2 extra motor's sitting around.... in a DOHC variant...

well, from what I read, the gates open at 5pm...but I will probably end up making it around 6pm or a lil later, cause its "paw paw" days (the town I live in has a good famiy gig/car show/craft swap....). not sure the price to get into martin though.though...

I will be hanging out with my turbo dodge buddy(ies) so if you see them, I will either be around them, or in the staging lanes...

Well, after the event, I met up with tim and a buddy with a rx-7 with a DOHC V-6 in it...

Well we all had some fun...and ended with TIM GETTING PULLED OVER,

we decided to race down west main right in before drake....which is a terrible place to race....and well, the cop chose tim, HA.

Yea, the tempo was there....best of 15.0 at like 94 for the night....cause they were not preping the track for shit..... and the car has so much blow-by at the moment, I am surprised it runs, lol.

The way I figure it.....tims car is twice as loud as mine, since I am still basicly running though the stock exhaust (except no cat and holes drilled into the stock muffler).

He did say the cop asked him if he was racing me.....and he lied though his teeth, HA. all good though. but I would of done it too.....IF the cop would of pulled me over...I would of said that he said he was goign to **** me.

I can picture that conversation- Yeah, I'm in a Taurus... Racing a Tempo.

Reminds me of when I was pulled over on I-94 merging on when I apparently pulled in between a car being chased and a cop chasing him. He pulled me over and asked me if I was racing him.

I looked at him and said- yes, officer- you caught me. I was racing you in my '82 Mercury Lynx.

I think the cop was ****** cuz he couldn't give me a ticket for anything else at the moment.

OK if you havent noticed Tim and I have a computer capable of running something faster then windows 95!! Just got a notebook the other day but still on dialup until we get the phone switched to someone with DSL anyone with any idea's for us to get something faster NOW ( phone company switch is gonna take 15 days or so) please let us know.... dont wanna go dish cuz I don't want another one in the middle of my front yard. So any idea's let us know.
