I am going to start my trek to Texas this saturday. I can't wait, there appears to be a strong SHOing of our cars there. I am going to be living in The Colony, north of dallas. If there are any of you nearby I will keep a look out for ya.

We have a strong SHOwing across the state and especially there in the metroplex, plus you are moving right next door to one of the premiere SHO mechanics in the NATION! What better luck could you ask for? BTW we are planning a tentative get together for the fall in the Bandera area. Look forward to meeting you and your sho! Best of luck on the trip! beer

One good thing about The Colony is that there is a liquor store on every corner.

"Nick's" is also a great place to watch sports.

Oh yeah 121 through there sucks ass on traffic.

Hope you have an ATX otherwise you will get a huge left thigh muscle from the clutch and traffic.

I wonder if those roads around Bandera will be fixed by the fall. And that's not taking into account if there's a hurricane or tropical storm come thru later this summer. This rain has to have washed out few bridges and roads. Dirt trackin a SHO might be fun, but it bees real ******* your paint, windshield, and tires. WRC style runs for us. eek!

Hey, welcome to Texas, man. If you want to meet with any of us, post it here. I'm about a 45 minutes from The Colony, but I could meet you somewhere near there if you want. We could start with a ride in my ATX, then jump in your SHO, then top it off lastly with Baby L's Lightning. wink

there are a few members that DO autocross down there.. I know that Martin (FordLover) does and Sergio Perfetti is a big time autocrosser as well. If you want some info I advise to check out our Tx only discussion board over at Topica.com...look for LSSHOC and join up!! Welcome!

We are a simi active group. I'm always up for meeting new SHO people, so come on anytime. We meet most every saturday at the woodlands car show around 6:30
ask the LSSHOC board for directions.
